Theme - Little Penguins and their environment

Must be on paper (not board)

Must be unmounted and unframed

Can be digital in design, but must be submitted in hard copy on paper

Must be no bigger than A3 size (297mm x 420mm)

Can be vertical or horizontal

Any art materials or combination of art materials may be used (eg paint, pencil, pastels, paper collage) but the artwork must be two-dimensional

The relevance of the artwork to the theme

Artistic and creative interpretation of the theme

Originality and the level of effort.

Judges will determine three finalists in each age category. A winning entry in each age category will be decided from the finalists in the respective age category

One entry per child

Entry form must be submitted with the artwork and signed by Parent of Guardian

Must be submitted to Eden Library or participating school office by 22nd August

Artworks will be on a roving display through Bega Valley to help raise awareness of our Little Penguin colony

Artworks may be displayed on Little Penguin Community Group website and social media pages

Artworks may be used to create merchandise to raise funds for the Little Penguin project

Prizes have been kindly donated by local businesses

Prizes include Whale Watching Tour (2 tickets), Art Supplies, Art Hampers and Gift Vouchers

Prizes are allocated between school grade/year categories determined by the Little Penguin Community Group
